For Parents
South Bronx Classical values its families, and knows they are critical in the success of our scholars.
For young children to succeed academically, the school and parents must develop positive and communicative
relationships. Teachers and staff are available and all families receive monthly communication regarding
their child's academic and behavioral progress, using grades and test scores as benchmarks for discussion.
We take your child's education very seriously, and work hard to give your child the tools required to gain
acceptance to the nation's best college. If schools and parents work together with a shared vision
of high expectations, the scholars will quickly see learn their most valuable lesson: "My parents and
school believe that my education is very important for me."

What can parents do to help South Bronx Classical succeed?
Parents should ensure that their own children are as successful as possible through their support of the school. Here are some tips:
- Read Together
- Limit TV and Videogame usage
- Develop a Homework routine and Quiet Time
- Express High Academic Expectations of your child
- Maintain contact with your child's teacher
- Support the school that you have chosen
Most importantly, parents should ensure that their child arrives every day, on time, with a clean and complete uniform,
well-slept, and with all homework completed.
