|
Donating shares of appreciated stock to South Bronx Classical may help you save money on your taxes and help us to fulfill
our mission of keeping families together.
|
The Benefits
You deduct the current fair market values of the shares on your taxes, not the price you originally paid
for them.
You avoid ever having to pay taxes on capital gains on the donated shares in the future.
Essentially, you are donating with a monetary gain that you never realized and thus will never pay taxes on.

SBCCS Receives Two Generous Gifts Arranged by Charles Payne
The Fourth Annual First Day of School at South Bronx Classical was a busy one. We received two generous
surprises to help us on our mission to providing a world-class education to our scholars.
The first surprise was receiving a generous gift from LandEnd, who sent us 300 high-quality bookbags for our
scholars! Upon seeing the large shipment, teachers called parents to tell them the money-saving news.
The bags were distributed on the first day Day of School with the help of Charles Payne, Trustee of South Bronx Classical.
The second surprise of the day was receiving a $7,000 grant from Fox Business Network, to be used to purchase supplies for
our scholars. Over the next few weeks, parents will see more supplies in their classrooms and bookbags as
we use the funding from this grant.
Mr. Payne, CEO of Wall Street Strategies and frequent contributor to Fox Business Network, was present to help distribute
the bookbags to families. In support of Mr. Payne was a camera crew from Fox Business Network, led by Karen Male.
Both of the gifts were arranged by Mr. Payne. Thank you Charles!
